4Rivers is giving back this holiday season! Each one of our 15 locations will be supporting their own unique charity where all proceeds will go to that specific charity. The “December Charities” campaign’s main purpose is to raise funds for local and regional charities around our various stores.
Everyone associated with the December Charities is extremely proud and appreciative that individual donors, companies and entire families were generous enough to make this year’s charitable contribution by far the largest in 4Rivers history.
We are proud to support these organizations in their efforts to help others who are less fortunate or in a time of need. We are extremely grateful for everything they do and are happy to show our support.
Below is the list of our stores and the charitable foundation they chose to support this holiday season and followed by a description of what that charitable organization does (Additional locations’ charities will be updated as they are announced):
Albuquerque, New Mexico: Newday Youth & Family Services – New Day works toward a vision that every youth has safe refuge for the present, adult allies for the future, and the basic skills needed to carve a healthy and positive path forward.
Colorado Springs, Colorado: God’s Pantry – As a Non-Profit organization we help promote multiple charity events throughout the year as people in need come to us for help. We help provide food, clothing & furnishings for anyone who needs it. We are non-denominational and work closely with many religious & community organizations.
Farmington, New Mexico: ECHO Food Bank – The ECHO Food Bank collects, stores, and processes food to distribute to low-income individuals. Food is obtained from manufacturers, farmers, distributors, grocers, community food drives, and state and national food bank networks in order to make it available to hungry people in Northwest New Mexico.
Fort Collins, Colorado: Food Bank for Larimer County “Fill The Gator” Food Drive – Food Bank for Larimer County is committed to not only providing the day-to-day nutritional assistance to our neighbors in need, but also to help stabilize their lives by providing health and hope, and putting them on a path to self-sufficiency.
Frederick, Colorado: Toy Drive and Donation box for the Children’s Hospital!
Greeley, Colorado: Toys for Tots – The objectives of the Foundation are to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for three months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to improving communities in the future.
Hobbs, New Mexico: Waste Connections Promise – Since 2001 with a donation of 16 bicycles to a charity called Christmas Promise; the Waste Connections Bike Build has grown to assembling and delivering over 3,000 bicycles for children to non-profit charities across the county. Employees, vendors and local volunteers raise matching funds for the program and donate their time and energy so thousands of children can wake up to a new bike on Christmas Day (with a safety helmet!).
Pueblo West, Colorado: Everybody Counts Ministry – To meet the practical and spiritual needs of the homeless community of Pueblo by befriending them, serving them weekly and letting them know that Everybody Counts!
4Rivers Equipment is honored and proud to support these organizations and everything they do to help others in their communities during their times of need. These volunteers work countless hours day in and day out without recognition or appreciation to help others. We are thankful for each one of these charities and all that they do.
