4Rivers Unveils 100th Anniversary Excavator
An inspiring morning and an incredible turnout set the tone for a milestone moment as 4Rivers Equipment unveiled its specially painted John Deere 200G excavator in celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary. More than a commemorative machine, the excavator represents 4Rivers’ goal of raising over $100,000 throughout 2026 for the American Cancer Society (ACS).
The centennial‑edition excavator, finished in a striking electric blue paint scheme, was revealed at the Frederick branch to an enthusiastic crowd of employees, partners, community members and local leaders. The unveiling honored both the company’s legacy and its commitment to supporting families affected by cancer across Colorado and beyond.
The event featured an impressive roster of speakers whose voices have shaped both the organization and the communities it serves. Among them were Roy Romer, 3rd‑generation owner of 4Rivers Equipment and former Governor of Colorado; 4Rivers CEO John Shearer; 4Rivers General Manager Danny Bratton; 4Rivers Frederick Branch Manager Mark Keeler; and 4Rivers Director of Rental Operations Mark Favetti. Representing the American Cancer Society were Kelly Moran, Vice President of South Regional Development, and Ciera Wills, Senior Manager of Development for Northern Colorado—both underscoring the significance of this partnership and its impact on ACS initiatives statewide.
A Group Effort
In addition to the presentations, 4Rivers Equipment delivered a heartfelt acknowledgment to the project partners who helped bring the commemorative machine to life. Fiore & Sons, Inc. supplied the very first donation (for $5,000) toward the fundraising campaign, while Arrowhead Services, LLC. and Ritchie Bros. earned praise for their exceptional craftsmanship in painting and preparing the excavator for its public debut.
The unveiling marks just the beginning of a year‑long celebration and fundraising effort tied to 4Rivers Equipment’s centennial anniversary. This milestone reflects a century of hard work, customer commitment and deep community roots. With the help of contributors, supporters, and industry partners, the company aims to transform this special machine into a powerful engine for hope and healing.
