Jeff Lawrence is the definition of a true one-man operation. As the sole employee of American Contractors, he built his company from the ground up. Starting with a single compact track loader, Jeff quickly grew into a full fleet including a wheel loader, a motor grader, and a mini excavator, while still operating every machine himself. His work ethic, drive, and commitment to doing things right the first time have made him stand out in the industry.
The Start of Something Big
“I own American Contractors. I’m the one and only employee right now,” Jeff said. “I started in March three years ago. I gave Ben [Tubach, the Fort Collins Territory Manager,] a call one afternoon and said, ‘I’m going to start my own company. I’m going to need some iron.’”
