Thad Bennett, Branch Manager of 4Rivers Equipment in El Paso, opened the day with greeting in the new facility. Special guests from John Deere, El Paso Chamber of Commerce, and the 4Rivers Equipment Leadership team all spoke of the excitement of the new investment in El Paso.

Keith Olson, CEO of 4Rivers Equipment reminisced on the path forged for John Deere by the Tom Growney Group in El Paso and thanked them for the opportunity to get involved. As he continued to tell the story of the move from a small 3-acre facility to a 12-acre facility, Olson noted the most important factor in 4River’s success, partnerships. The partnership between employees, customers, and most of all John Deere. Max Guinn, President of  Worldwide Construction & Forestry at Deere & Company, remarked on Deere’s appreciation and excitement of the new facility. He also took the time to introduce key members of the John Deere team present.

The El Paso Chamber of Commerce leads us into the ribbon-cutting ceremony in front of the new facility where there was also a photo opportunity with Chico the Chihuahua; a local minor league baseball mascot.

Later in the afternoon, members of the 4Rivers Leadership told the story of the beginnings of 4Rivers Equipment, it’s future in El Paso, and the partnership that it has taken to get to where we are.
